Mental Health Mondays

Welcome to Mental Health Mondays! We all know how stressful infertility and family building can be, so each week, one of our counselors will post a mental wellness tip to help you get through the stress of it all.

This week’s mental health tip: GIVE YOUR PARTNER (or anyone you care about) a 20-SECOND HUG.

Valentine’s Day may be over, but there is always a reason to spread some love around! One way to spread the love is by giving your partner a 20-second hug. Not only is a 20-second hug good for your relationship, studies have shown that sharing a 20-second hug with your partner releases a hormone called oxytocin. Higher levels of oxytocin has been linked to lower stress levels. So, give it a try this week! Commit to giving each other a 20-second hug each day and see how it helps your stress.

Stay tuned for more tips!
